Good and Bad Website Designs

The Internet is a big place, full of dark and scary things. Very scary things. But there are millions of websites on the internet, all for different purposes and therefore they all have different designs. And for a person to stay on a website, it has to be appealing as well. And with every good website design there are bad ones. In the next two posts I will review 2 websites, one good and one bad. To give you all an idea on how to make a good website and what is a bad one.

The *insert witty name for the decade here* Nineties

The Nineties. So great it doesn't need a name, just a great big 'The'. The decade I grew up in for the first 5 years of my life. So I do have fond memories of this decade. Mostly with toys and games considering I was 5 when the decade ended xD but it was a good decade if you look into it :D For example; Skating and Grudge fashion was highly popular and is the fashion I dress myself in. It was extremely popular with teenagers but occasionally some adults. You also have overalls, sports and the Gangsta look. These were all popular during the decade. 90's Trends

The Crazy Eighties

The 80's. Again one of my favourite decades, and my favourite when it comes to music and fashion. The fashion of the 80's is easily the most influential for me in terms of how I dress, with Leather Jackets, punk shirts and tench coats. The music of the decade is my favourite too, with bands such as Guns n roses emerging, and many others. 80's Trends

The Rockin Seventies

The 70's, probably one of my fave decades for music. The fashion is awesome too with bell bottom jeans, and the disco life. Disco was the trend of the 70's, which lead to the disco music and fashion which included, rollerblading, lava lamps and many other trends .he music of the decade that wasn't disco was the coming of Rock. Films of the time became instant successes such as the Star Wars films. 70's Trends

The Swinging Sixties

The 60's! Easily one of my favourite decades of modern fashion and history. The 60's was the age of Rebellion, modern fashion and the birth of modern music. The rebellion nature came from the teenagers and students not wanting to end up like their parents and wanting independence, not wanting to look or sound like their parents. This actually started in the 50's with the rise of Elvis and actors such as James Dean, but became world wide in the 60's. Girls wore short dresses, which was seen as disgraceful for women at the time and the men wore leather jackets and boot cut jeans. The age of Rock and Pop become the fashion of that decade and carries on into the next decade. The most prominent band that came form the 60's and are still the most successful music act in history were The Beatles. A band formed in Liverpool, England gained world wide fame and 'Beatlemania' was spreading across the world. Another note to popular music was The Jackson 5, a pop group in America become popular, while Elvis was got his come back and became more popular than ever. Fashion of the 60's was rebellious, the most famous has got to be the Hippie movement that started in the mid 60's, where people of all ages but more prominent in students, disbanded from society to form their own and live the life os free spirited people who didn't have to listen to the 'Man' as they call it. There was also another trend from the 60's I forgot to mention, the Mods, a subculture group of people which is hard to pin point what it actually was because it was continuously reinventing itself. But this movement was generally of working-class people who didn't like the dull and boring fashion and wanted to reinvent modern fashion at the time. 60's Mood Board
